A truly divine and peaceful place. Melbourne Murugan Temple has a very powerful and positive spiritual atmosphere. The temple is beautifully maintained, clean, and well organised. The priests perform the poojas with great devotion, and the chanting creates deep inner peace. It is a wonderful place for families to pray, especially on special days and festivals. Parking and facilities are well managed, and everyone is very respectful and welcoming.

From the Mauritius Cultural Organisation of Melbourne We recently had the honour of hosting our Sittirai Cavadee celebrations at Sunshine Murugan Temple, and we would like to express our heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to the temple management, priests, and volunteers. For 10 days, from the beginning of the festival until the final day, the temple provided a truly spiritual, peaceful, and devotional atmosphere for our Mauritian community and all devotees attending the prayers. The dedication and commitment shown by the priests were exceptional. They conducted the prayers with sincerity, kindness, and devotion, making everyone feel welcomed and spiritually connected. Over the past years that our community has been celebrating our religious prayers and festivals at the temple, we have always received respect, support, and warmth from the temple directors and volunteers. The temple has continuously opened its doors to us and treated our community like family. It is important to mention that the priests have never asked us for personal money outside of the official temple fees, for which proper receipts are always provided. Our experience with the temple has always been transparent, respectful, and professional. As President of the Mauritius Cultural Organisation of Melbourne, I can proudly say that Sunshine Murugan Temple always makes us feel at home. We are deeply thankful for their ongoing support, hospitality, and devotion to preserving and promoting our spiritual traditions.
