Successful completion of this course entitles Students to a Certificate II in Security Operations, a Statement of Attainment for Crowd Control and Bodyguarding and a Statement of Attainment for First Aid.
Prerequisites
There are no pre-requisites for this qualification however,
Students must be over the age of 18.
Have no recorded conviction of a disqualifying offence within the previous 10 years, or an unrecorded finding of guilt of a disqualifying offence in the previous five years
Not be considered a risk to public safety
Other Information
The Office of Fair Trading charge $438.25 to apply for a Security Providers Licence and Criminal History Check. This is not included in the course fee. You cannot gain employment as a Security Officer or Crowd Controller until you have received your licence (approx 3 "“ 4 weeks after application)
