The Centre attempts to work closely with the Victorian Government bodies such as Department of Consumer Affairs, Victorian Multicultural Commission, Victoria Police; Federal bodies such as Department of Immigration and Ethnic Affairs; and the Consulate of India in order to promote positive learning experiences for Indian International students who come to Australia with hopes and ambitions to pursue their academic career. Our services include: Visa information and advice Guidance in seeking employment (identifying potential employers) Career Counselling Student Mentor support Assisting students to resolve academic issues with their education providers Assisting students in dealing with Government Departments Counselling Services IISAC Discount Cards – to purchase consumables in supporting retail outlets (Available to all Indian international students at the Centres office) Open – 9:30 am to 4:30 pm on Thursdays (Other days – By appointment)
