The Festival of Unity, marking the Third Anniversary of the Hare Krsna Temple, Burbank, was my most recent visit to this amazing place of Sri Sri Radha Giri Govardhan Dhari’s abode🙏🏻It was such an ethereal and ecstatic experience witnessing the Flower Festival live (and not online)😇 Best wishes for this temple’s and its devotees’ future success in bringing Krishna to each one’s life, providing eternal peace, harmony and happiness forever. Hare Krsna!

Friendly, fun, welcoming community! Ranging from small gatherings weekly to huge parties. A lovely place to enjoy socializing. To learn about culture and faith in a fun way, including for kids. I want to be honest with true feedback. The transport and parking situation for large events is hard while having a disability and a young child. There is no designated disability parking. We have worked out a way for my husband to drop me and the baby with the pram off on the grass next to the entrance, then he goes to find a parking spot that requires more walking. Unfortunately this time, the man at the entrance was not welcoming even of temporarily parking to drop me off initially. He did apologise after. There could be more creating and revering natural beauty there. It would be beautiful if there was a garden, with medicinal herbs like Tulsi for example. Vegans should be catered for. We should be able to find food and not have people dislike us asking what's dairy free, unable to answer. I understand the traditional way of the faith is to worship with cow milk and ghee. There is the divine story of Krishna and his mutually beneficial relationship with cows. Protecting and loving them, while receiving the gift of milk. However, in today's age with huge human population, industrialisation, and most adult humans believing it's their taken for granted right to receive milk from animals. Sorry, but there is no way it's ethical except in rare circumstances. They are mother cows who create milk for their babies who they love, but are horribly betrayed by humans who steal their milk, separate and kill their babies, and kill those mothers. This age is known as Kali Yuga, and a known sin of the age is that humans devolve into exploiting and killing cows. So you see the vegan lifestyle is very understandable, for people who truly want to respect and love the cows and sentient beings.
