I have been visiting this Gurudwara for some time, and it has always been one of the most peaceful and spiritually uplifting places for me. The atmosphere is serene, and the volunteers and devotees are generally kind, humble, and welcoming. The seva and langar are offered with genuine devotion, which is something I deeply appreciate. Unfortunately, during my last couple of visits, I had a very distressing experience with one individual. On more than one occasion, he stared at me for an extended period, followed me around the premises, including near the bathroom area, and behaved in a way that made me feel intimidated. When I politely asked him if I had done anything to upset him, he responded by raising his voice, behaving aggressively, and mocking me. I chose not to argue or create a scene in such a sacred place and simply walked away. This experience left me feeling shocked and genuinely fearful, especially because I come to the Gurudwara seeking peace and spiritual comfort. It is heartbreaking to feel unsafe in a place that has always represented kindness, compassion, and devotion. The individual appeared to be approximately 5’5” tall. He was wearing slippers, a hoodie, and a kerchief on his head rather than a turban. I also noticed him with a child on one occasion. I have seen him at the Gurudwara on multiple visits, typically around 7:00–8:30 pm and sometimes in the afternoon. These are my observations to help me recall the incident accurately. I sincerely hope the management remains vigilant and ensures that all visitors can worship in a safe, respectful, and welcoming environment. If this behaviour continues during any future visit, I will have no choice but to contact the police immediately there and report him, as everyone has the right to feel safe while visiting a place of worship. Despite this unfortunate incident, I still believe this Gurudwara is a beautiful place of worship, and I hope this feedback helps preserve the peaceful environment that so many devotees value.

Me and my friends went to sydney by drive. We reach at 2 am. Unfortunately we can’t find the key where we were staying. It was 3:30 am and we planed to go to Gurudwara. Sahib. It was a lot of raining and we were with kids and one of my friend was sick too. Once we reached there. Someone already opening the gate of shree Gurudwara sahib. They are very welcoming people. Open the doors for us.prepare a Langar for us ( early) offer a space to rest, even packed a Langar for us. I have no words with this kindness. Unbelievable, we feel like baba Nanak g with us. Many many thanks to the kind people and management. Definitely will visit every time when ever we are in Sydney. Seems like a miracle to us. No words for the Sangat and management. Wahaguru g keep Bess those people who do sewa this early morning. Respect for Sikh culture and humanity. Great example. I have a no words for that kindness. Satnam shree wahaguru. 🙏🏾

Beautiful place . Must visiting place . Best time to go if u want to listen kirtan and meditate is Sunday morning and any weekdays evening 5 to 8 pm . Saturday’s and Sunday’s evenings are usually crowded. I can’t stop myself going to this place at least once in a week. This is the only religious place in aus, where People from all religion are welcome. Served free food and place to listen kirtan .

We have visited Gurudwara Sahib Glenwood on several weekends after moving to Sydney. During each visit, we have enjoyed their langar / लंगर - the simple but nutritious food, served with humility. We have always marvelled at the work done by scores of volunteers, some visible, others not. Having visited and volunteered briefly at the Golden Temple at Amritsar, we feel good that this gurudwara exists here in Sydney - for anyone and everyone.
