  This is a long review, but this business deserves to be appropriately honoured: There are not words adequate to describe the quality of the experience and the craft of these jewellers. They have exquisite pieces in the store and they design and make pieces on order, and if you are a high end customer, they will more than meet your needs and expectations. But I am from the other end of the spectrum. My jewellery is not expensive, but it matters to me. I have taken pieces in for repair at other jewellers and my experience had me intimidated at the thought of doing it again - but I am so glad I did, because Gold Rivers treated me and my very inexpensive jobs as though I was their most important customer. Toni spent more than 30 minutes helping me choose a stone to be placed into one of my existing rings. My budget was limited, and Toni honoured that, while trying to optimise the quality I would receive. After a very long time, patiently showing me a range of options I chose a stone that was not the one I wanted (there was no London Blue Topaz available), but was still one I was happy with. I was incredibly surprised at the affordability of the repair, especially given the time and attention I received. When I arrived home, I received a text. Toni had continued looking on my behalf and found the exact stone I wanted. This level of personal interest and care in what for them, was a small job, speaks to the pride they have in what they do. The job was done in half the expected time, and I could not be happier with the finished product. They also did another small repair for me, and I encourage anyone who thinks their job is too small to take to a quality jeweller to give Gold Rivers a chance. I am so glad I did. They understood that my inexpensive jewellery was precious to me...and that mattered to them.

  I had the best experience with Gold River Jewellers! After being told it would cost me over $2k for a upsize of a family ring (18k gold) in Melbourne, I was pleasantly surprised when I got quoted just over $200 which included three ring size increments and a much needed clean. The staff were so helpful and knowledgeable. If you want all your jewellery handled and crafted on site Gold River Jewellers is for you. Will definitely be coming back.

  My husband surprised me with a beautiful piece from Gold River Jewellers, and when I saw the ring, I was absolutely speechless! and it’s truly stunning! The craftsmanship and attention to detail are amazing. The team was also very friendly and welcoming when we came in for cleaning, and they made my ring look brand new again.   Toni at Gold River Jewellers was awesome, I wanted a pendant made for an Opal I had bought to match my ring. I had a few ideas on the design but Toni came up with a better on, which I absolutely loved. My whole family loved it. I was a 50th Anniversary present. Thanks for all your help Toni.

  From the moment I walked in I felt cared for. I brought in 2 rings requiring repair, cleaning and resizing, which while not hugely valuable were very precious to me. One was an amethyst and gold ring my parents gave me on my graduation from uni 20 years ago, in serious need of tlc, and the other a Scottish celtic ring with fond holiday memories attached. The young lady appreciated their significance to me and explained what could be achieved. A week later I had rings that look like new. Thanks to the care and workmanship of the jewellers. I am very happy.
