“You need to be banned from their shop”, this is what my husband says anytime I mention Dubai Palm Jewellery in Browns Plains. They have the best gold in Queensland BY FAR and always have the latest designs. The staff take great care of you. I recently bought a ring from one of the lovely owners, Sam. The below photo is my inspiration. Once I reach that, I am happy to be banned.

Stay away from this shop they will sell the 21 karat gold well above the market price plus add design charges on-top which makes no sense. If you sell they offer very low price. I think gold price should be consistent with global retail market price. Huge red flag 🚩 save your money and stay away from this business. Plus ladies please do your research don’t fall pray to these people.

They wanted $2750 + gst for 10 gram piece of 24K gold. Price of gold that day was $190 per gram. I was ready to spend $10,000 dollars that day, but at those prices the only wise thing to do was go somewhere else. They have a good selection of designs.

Unfortunately my mum and I had a poor experience with service here. Was attended by one worker who overall was not attentive nor patient. We brought in a piece of jewellery that we previously bought from here which had broken, and we were told they couldn't fix it which is understandable. At this point we had already picked out a couple of other pieces of jewellery, however, as my mum and I were discussing what we should do (aka should be replace the broken jewellery) the worker then began putting away the jewellery we had already selected while stating to the effect of "if you don't want it it's fine." He also then stated he has other customers he needs to attend to. We had been in the store for no longer than 10 minutes, and putting pressure on customers to quickly choose and buy is not okay especially when it's something expensive like gold. The owner did attempt to be helpful which I appreciate however the worker we were served by completely put us off from buying. We bought many jewellery from here over the years but won't be returning.

I bought gold from this jewellery store in June. When I returned later to sell the same gold, the market price had increased, yet they still offered me less than what I originally paid, which didn’t make sense. There is a sign on the glass clearly stating Buy price: $195 / Sell price: $170. However, when I asked to buy more gold, I was quoted $225, not the listed $195. When I questioned this, there was no clear or reasonable explanation. The pricing is inconsistent and confusing, and it feels misleading to display one price while charging another. Transparency and honesty are very important when dealing with gold, and unfortunately my experience here did not meet those expectations.
