I had a very disappointing experience at this jewelry store. I asked for a chain and pendant with a budget of up to $700 in either 18K or 21K gold. The price I was quoted for 18K gold was the same price that other jewelers had quoted me for 21K gold, which I felt was not competitive. When I politely asked how they determine their gold prices so I could better understand pricing in the future, the owner responded, "We make up our own prices," and then said, "You don't need to know," in a very rude and disrespectful tone. What was even more concerning is that this is not the first time I have noticed this behavior. On multiple occasions, I have heard the seller speak negatively about customers immediately after they left the store without making a purchase. This happened right in front of me, which I found extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. There is nothing wrong with setting your own prices, but treating customers with courtesy and respect is essential. Unfortunately, because of the rude attitude and unprofessional behavior, I will not be returning and cannot recommend this store.

Extremely rude owner. They kept letting more customers into an already cramped space without enough staff to handle them. After waiting 45 minutes, we were asked to leave simply because our toddler became restless. The behavior also felt discriminatory, as the owner appeared selective about who he chose to serve. Very disappointing experience—would not recommend.

Super rude and unhelpful. Kept saying he was the cheapest shop around and then told us to get out when we asked what the exchange/ refund policy is as he had "other customers to deal with", who was the person who was already in the store when we entered. Would not want anyone to receive his customer service nor inability to assist with products. Luckily, there are plenty of other stores in the same vicinity. Do yourself a favour and don't walk into this shop.

I went to this jewellery shop with a family member who normally buys from him. We were welcomed very humbly and he answered every question I had regarding the trading of jewellery and the price. I asked him to check the jewellery and to show me the 22kt which he sells. I was impressed that he didn’t hesitate and showed me the authenticity of the piece that I was purchasing using the tester. He also sells 18kt and 21kt what ever suits your budget. I did shop around before going to Al Namir jewellery and found his service and price better.

AL-NA-MIR is a dodgy dishonest jeweler shop. I purchased a chain on 6th Oct 2023 from the shop. We were looking for 22K gold and the items that he shown claimed everything was 22K. He also mentioned that he takes only cash. He made us to buy in cash. We trusted him and paid in cash. We thought we were paying for 22K product and didn't minutely check his hand written bill. His hand writing is very bad obviously to trick people. When reading the receipt again multiple time, noticed he hand written the gold purity as 21K. He charged us heaps per gram saying that he is giving us 22K. I can't believe how dodgy the owner is! I wish I could give a negative rating. I strongly recommend everyone to stay away from this dodgy shop and don't waste your valuable money. They cheat on customers pretending to be trustworthy! I will also contact ACCC to inform about this dodgy business.
